An Introduction to ESTA's

From 12th January 2009 onwards, customers wishing to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program are subject to increased security requirements. All eligible travellers who wish to travel under the Visa Waiver Program must apply for authorization using the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).

Think of an ESTA as an American Visa; it is a document showing that a person is authorized to enter the territory. If you’re not entirely sure about the ESTA and you’re seeking more information then not to worry – Visas4USA has put together a few facts about the ESTA. Visas4USA’s ESTA is:

• Valid for two years. It also gives a stay of up to 90 days per visit
• Cheap and cheerful. The US Government charges an issuing fee of $14 (roughly £9). We have a service charge of £10.00 per ESTA to apply on your behalf. If you are travelling in a party of 10 people or more please contact us for special rates.
• Really quite fast! We will issue your ESTA within 72 hours, usually within 24 hours. We will email a copy of the ESTA to you.
• Honest. There are no hidden costs – it’s simply our £10 service charge and the $14 visa issuing fee.
• Fast and secure. Our application process is very straight forward and takes just a few minutes to complete. All transactions are secure. All your details are removed from our system as soon as your ESTA has been processed.

Please note:

• You must apply for the ESTA at least one week before travelling.
• The ESTA does not guarantee entry into the United States; that decision rests with the immigration official at the Port of Entry in the same way that travellers currently entering the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program or with a visa are subject to inspection.
• Visas4USA are permitted to complete the ESTA registration process on your behalf.
• We only process ESTAs for UK and Irish Passports holders.
